Branding Your Business

Branding your self and your business can be the difference between selling a lot and selling nothing at all. People in general does not like to buy something from a person without a face or without a name,would you?. it is these kind of questions that you need to ask your self on a regular basis if you want to succeed in internet marketing,it is not about you it is about your customers and what they want and need.

It is very easy to go wrong here if you are new to internet marketing,to really know what your customers/prospects wants is not the same as guessing or assuming to know what they want,you need to do your research well to know what is hot and what is not. If you are the kind of person (wich most of us are) that have bought a lot of info products and bought in to all of the latest and greatest money making opportuneties in the hope of earning some easy money,just to discover that it was not easy at all to resell and make a dime from,dont despair we have all done this at some point.

You see it is here that branding your name comes in to play,offcourse the gurus want you to believe that what ever you buy from them will be SOOOO easy to resell and make som easy $$$$,and yes it probably is easy or at least a lot more easier for them to sell something then it is for you,offcourse it is they allready got a name for them selfes that people recognice and trust in how could you possibly compete with that?.

It is a battle that you cant win,not in a day,not in a month,because it takes time to brand your self a loooooong time, if you dont got the resources to (wich most of us dont have in the beginning) announce to the world that you are the next hot shot marketer.

So how do you begin to brand your self then?, pretty simple, it all begins with a picture and a name, create something of value and pass it along, give it away for free, collect testimonials from the people who apreciate what you are doing and you are on your way, but never ever fall for the hype and beliefe that just because a top marketer sells e-books like icecream on a hot summer day, that you easily could do the same,but you are probably smarter then that right?.

If you have fallen for this sales trick wich I am sure that we all have at some point, it is only human and it is not the end of the world the important thing is that you learn from your misstakes and recognice the warning signs when you se them and avoid all the hype. This is something that comes with time and experience and you will pretty soon learn how to avoid all this.

Something really importent to think about thowe, when you are starting to brand your self is that you do your research and do it good!. If you should start to promote something that you have not done a thorrow research on and it turnes ou to be a scam a not so good product etc,what do you think will happen to your reputation and branding, yep! no good no good at all, infact it could mean a disaster to your branding. The internet is very unforgiving to these kind of things so it is better to come well prepared and to know that whatever you are promoting delivers what it promises to do then to get it all wrong from the start.

Offcourse you can build a good business on the internet without sharing a picture of your self but it is a lot easier to build trust and to brand your self this way. Not everyone likes the thought of having pictures of them self floating around on the internet and there fore makes the choise of staying anonymous, (I am one of them ) it is just that it is a lot more easy to brand your self this way and that is why i recommend it in the first place.
